Common mistakes in the exam

As a teacher, I have come across a variety of common mistakes that students make during board exams. Here are some examples: Not utilising the reading time fruitfully . Writing in paragraph form instead of using bullet points . Avoiding pictorial/diagrammatic illustrations . Forgetting to label diagrams and figures . Writing more than required or exceeding the word limit . Not going for an organized approach . Not drawing the diagrams . Studying at a stretch without taking breaks . Lack of writing practice . Not reading the question paper properly and waiting for the last minute to start answering . Last-minute mugging up . Forgetting to write the working formula of the chemical reaction at hand . Writing improper units without checking their compatibility .
